Connections for Life with Dementia

Connections for ‘Life with Dementia’ Project

‘Connections for Life with Dementia’ is a collaborative research project bringing together expertise from the University of Wollongong with various community and industry partners, including people with dementia and their care partners. The purpose is to understand, support, and enhance social connections and quality of life for people with dementia in various care and community settings.

As Blue Haven transitions to the new Kiama Aged Care Centre for Excellence (KACCOE) understanding and supporting residents is extremely important. This project will use various creative and engaging methods to bring together staff, care partners and residents with (or at risk of) dementia to support connections and quality of life as they make this transition.
